Jonathan Cutler, PhD., President
The founder of the company, Jonathan is available to consult with clients regularly on issues ranging from marketing strategy, to tenant negotiation, to capital improvement plans, to working with lenders to acquisitions and dispositions. Because of his extensive experience as an owner, manager, builder, contractor and even lender during his 25+ years in the business, Jonathan Cutler is in a unique position to help our clients make informed, intelligent decisions. Adam K. Santos, Vice President
Adam is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM®). Adam is also twice past president of the area chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management. In his 12 years with Premier, Adam has been instrumental in the growth of Premier’s portfolio. In addition to managing a number of Premier’s assets, Adam is also involved with acquisitions and transactional activity, helping to source, analyze, and structure investments for Premier and our clients.
James M. Kernan, Vice President
Jim brings over 45 years of property management, leasing and operations experience to Premier. Formerly holding senior management positions with Donohoe and Randall Hagner, Jim is also a Certified Property Manager (CPM®), past president of the area chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management, and a licensed real estate broker in the District, Maryland and Virginia.
Richard Battista, Controller
RIchard is a CPA with deep experience in financial management. Richard has recently joined Premier after spending 30 years with Pepco, where he was involved in financial reporting, leasing, and business management. At Premier Richard also oversees financial reporting and internal financial management.
Cassandra Drinnon, Property Manager
Cassandra joined Premier about 2 years ago after 10 years managing large residential properties for a national developer. She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and oversees much of our Richmond portfolio, as well as supervising our in house maintenance administration.
Barbara Smith, Lease Coordinator
Barbara manages Premier’s 500+ commercial leases, making sure that delinquencies are kept to a minimum, renewals are handled in a timely fashion, and new leases are processed properly. Barbara came to Premier with 15 years of progressively increasing real estate experience, from First Washington to Federal Realty to Avison and Young, Barbara knows leasing! At Premier her duties have expanded to include CAM reconciliations, and she also has recently started studying to become a Certified Property Manager.
Ed Halverson, Accounting Manager
Ed has been handling accounts receivable and payable and reconciliations at Premier for over 8 years. A graduate of University of Maryland, Ed’s original training was in the graphic arts, so accounting is his second career. Ed also handles a variety of office management responsibilities that keep our office running smoothly.
Chris Chase, Accounting Manager
Chris teams with Ed in making sure that all of our rents are deposited, bills paid, and our 60+ accounts are reconciled every month. Chris has over 8 years of residential and commercial property accounting experience before joining Premier.
Kima Ledesma, Maintenance Coordinator
Before joining Premier, Kima had 10+ years of administrative experience at firms such as Capital One and Guardian Realty. At Premier she handles all of the incoming maintenance requests from our 45+ properties, whether by phone, email, web ticket, fax, or from our own team. She then assigns those requests to our excellent tech team and follows up to make sure things get done - no small job!
Ron Willis, Senior Maintenance Supervisor
Ron has been with Premier for 17 years. Aside from helping with all aspects of maintenance administration, Ron oversees and performs maintenance for 9 or so properties in Northern Virginia and Maryland. Ron is a skilled plumber, he is certified in HVAC, and has formal training in a host of related electrical and mechanical disciplines. There is generally not much Ron can’t fix or get fixed.
John Black, Senior Maintenance Supervisor
John Black has been with Premier since 2012. Originally hired to provide onsite maintenance support to one of our medical properties, John’s responsibilities have grown to include onsite maintenance supervision for a number of Premier properties in the District of Columbia and the close in suburbs. Aside from being a skilled maintenance technician, John is also certified in HVAC and basic electrical maintenance.
Victor Holleman, Building Supervisor
Victor came to Premier in 2016 from CBRE, where he has 10+ years of building maintenance experience. A certified HVAC tech and all around skilled maintenance supervisor, Victor is responsible for two large office buildings in Premier’s Richmond portfolio as well as assisting with other assets in the Richmond market.
Jose has a lifetime of experience maintaining commercial real estate. Jose joined Premier in 2015 and takes care of several office properties in DC and Northern Virginia.
Oscar TImeo, Building Engineer
Oscar works part time with Premier as a Building Engineer. Oscar has low pressure and high pressure boiler training and maintains a 3rd Class Boiler License along with a CFC Universal certificate. Oscar works on a number of DC, MD and VA properties for Premier where his expertise with boilers, chillers, and control systems is needed.
